If you do not already know, there are two churches of Singapore named Saint Joseph Church both of which are for the Roman Catholics - one situated in Victoria Street and the other at Upper Bukit Timah. Both churches allow funeral wakes to be held at their premise for both Christians and Roman Catholics which can be deemed as sacred. Both places are peaceful and relatively high in demand. The only con is that they close pretty early in Singapore's context, at 10:00PM sharp.
