Funeral Process – Part One

Some people would term it as selling or doing sales but at Harmony Funeral Care, we believe in first sharing what we have and can offer to families. We are the first point of contact when someone passes away. If the death happened at home, we can help to contact a doctor 24/7 to certify the death. We will then arrive within an hour to assist you and your family.

We typically advise families to choose a funeral package they want based on two factors: (1) price - the package has to be within a reasonable budget you and your family feel comfortable with and (2) decedent’s wishes - choose something that the decedent will like. We have at least 3 different funeral packages for all the religions to suit families with different needs and budget. You can thus be rest assured that you will be able to find a suitable package. In fact, our basic package is one of the cheapest funeral package you can find in the funeral industry as we are the wholesalers of coffins (meaning you will be able to minimise the chances of going through a broker unknowingly and then paying a premium for the broker's fee). Our cheapest funeral package would already include the basic things needed for a holistic funeral.

Upon selection of the funeral package, we will have everything documented down on a sales agreement form of which bereaved families will keep the original copy and we will keep a copy. This is to ensure that everything that has been discussed and prices shared will be adhered to.
