Renovations are finally completed and Saint Joseph's Church has opened its doors once again. The good news is that this splendid church even has a premise that allows funeral wakes to be held there.

Its central location is a plus point for many. It is located at 143 Victoria Street.

Till date it has hosted 9 funeral wakes and the numbers are set to increase. The funeral wake is to be conducted at the Chapel Of Repose which is conveniently located at the entrance of the gate to the church.

Charges: $550/day with a one-time $100 cleaning fee

Both Christians and Roman Catholics can use this premise for funeral wakes in Singapore.

Room is fully air-conditioned and comes with tables and chairs. The premise also has an outdoor area where refrigerators can be placed. Toilets are at the back of this funeral wake room

If you are holding a Roman Catholic funeral, you can choose to have the funeral mass for your loved one at this church as well. This means that there will be less movement from one place to another on the final day of the funeral. Saint Joseph's Church charges $300 for the rental of their chapel for the funeral mass and you can request for a Priest to help conduct the ceremony if needed. In my own opinion, this Catholic Church is really beautiful both internally and externally. It would make a really good location for hosting of funeral wakes in Singapore if you are looking for a place to have a funeral wake.
