With the silver tsunami in Singapore, the government has stepped up to provide death care facilities for Singaporeans in the near future. This is evidenced by the release of a site at woodlands allocated for use as a funeral parlour and by the proposed erection of a funeral parlour at Bidadari. However, such infrastructure will require time before they can be built.
In the meantime, many churches in Singapore has since opened their premise to allow funeral wakes to be conducted.

Price: $600 per day with a $100 cleaning fee
Opening hours: 10AM to 10PM
- Central location
- Fully air-conditioned
- There is a passenger lift for convenience
- Secluded and peaceful
- As the church is very new (it only opened its premise for funeral wakes in March 21), they are still awaiting for the tables and chairs ordered to arrive. There are no round tables and chairs typically when you rent this parlour as of now. Funeral companies like us would have to be the one to assist in such scenarios. Do call us to find out if the situation has changed since then.
- The place to hold the funeral wake is in the basement and as of now, there is no lift available to transfer the coffin and decedent to different levels be it for the funeral mass or for cremation.
Below are some images taken so as to give you a better idea of how the parlour looks like.
Hope this helps! The situation at the church might have changed as time passes. Do call us so we can provide you with the latest updates for the smooth planning of the funeral.
