Can you arrange a Buddhist funeral immediately?
Yes. Our team is available 24/7 and can begin arrangements immediately, including transfer, documentation guidance, wake setup and monk coordination. We tend to you even at night with no added fees.
Do I need to find my own Buddhist monk?
Our Buddhist funeral packages already include 3 main prayer sessions and 2 minor ones conducted by reverend monks. You do not need to prepare red packets for them as well.
Can you arrange a funeral at my HDB void deck?
Yes, you can. In fact, we will help with the void deck booking with the town council so that you can have the time and space to grieve in peace. Rental of the void deck is free, so you get to save a bulk of the cost that goes into venue.
What happens if death occurs in a hospital?
If death happens at a hospital, the hospital will arrange for a doctor to certify the death before the deceased can be moved to the embalming care centre for professional cleansing and natural light make up with embalming.
If death happens at home, a doctor needs to be called for the certification of death. We can help with this if you do not have your own doctor. Do note that the fees are about $350 to $450 and are payable directly to the doctor.
Please help to prepare any doctor memos or historical medical records of the deceased to facilitate this process. You do not have to go to a physical police station or ICA to get the death certificate. It can be obtained easily online now.
How long does it take to arrange a funeral?
Minimally 3 hours, depending on the complexity of the case and the duration embalming takes.
